What’s your favourite piece from the LB Collection, and why?
What makes it special for you?
It’s two! The green linen shirt and cargo
pants. It’s the perfect shade of green, and the linen is lightweight and moves beautifully. I’ll be living in it in the summer—packing it in my suitcase for Italy as we speak!
How did the LB Collection come to life — did the vision evolve
from ideation to execution?
Were there surprises along the way, or did it all feel intuitive?
It’s all been super communicative and super relaxed—Vanessa and I have pulled the whole thing together on Whatsapp and Zoom. When you have a simpatico with someone, it’s easy to do that way. I trusted Vanessa’s taste from the get-go—you only need to look at her collections and Instagram to get it—so that shorthand made it easy. Hopefully, we’ll be able to wear the pieces by the sea together soon.
